Missouri Workforce Incentives

Missouri offers a variety of workforce incentives for new jobs added in the state. Featured Programs

The State of Missouri offers several different training programs to meet the needs of new and expanding businesses.  These programs offer flexibility in covering training costs for newly created jobs and are easily accessed through one initiative called Skilled Workforce Missouri.  Learn more information on getting started here.

Missouri Customized Training Program

This program provides assistance to eligible Missouri businesses to reduce training costs and improve productivity. In order to be eligible to apply, the company must be:

  • Creating new jobs in the state above their peak employment level in the past year
  • Retraining existing employees as a result of a substantial new capital investment

Missouri Community College New Jobs Training Program

This program provides assistance in reducing the cost associated with expanding a workforce or locating a new facility in the state of Missouri through training services such as:

  • Training customized to the specific needs of the industry
  • General occupation skill training

In order to be eligible to apply, the business must be:

  • Engaged in interstate or intrastate commerce for the purpose of manufacturing, processing or assembling products
  • Conducting research and development
  • Providing services in interstate commerce
