Red Monkey Foods, a leading producer of premium spice and seasoning products, recently announced plans to construct a 60,000 sq. ft. facility in Republic, Missouri. A capital investment of $3.4M, the company plans to add to its current workforce of 110, creating 40 new jobs over the next few years.

The producer of organic spices and all natural seasonings markets both private label and branded products under the trade name “Good Flavors” to some of the nation’s most well-known grocery stores and supermarkets including Target and Safeway. For the last several years, the company has experience consistent growth. In fact, Red Monkey Foods has made the Inc. 5000 list of Top Food & Beverage Companies in the country three years in a row – landing in the top 500 in 2011. After adding 10 new jobs earlier this year, Jeff Brinkhoff, Founder and President of Red Monkey Foods, made the decision to expand into the Brookline Business Park in Republic, Missouri, to accommodate the exponential growth of their existing Mt. Vernon facility.

Established in 2003, plans to increase revenue through its current spice bottling, as well as offering private label services of dry pouched meal solutions. “We are excited about our new location in Republic, and the resources it will be able to provide as we continue our aggressive growth plan in the Springfield region,” said Jeff Brinkhoff, Founder and President of Red Monkey Foods.

The facility is expected to be ready for production in January 2015, and is the second facility to begin construction in the Brookline Business Park in 2014. Red Monkey Foods will access state incentives through the Missouri Works Program, as well as receive a local Enhanced Enterprise Zone incentive through the City of Republic which offers the company 50% property tax abatement for 10 years.
