The Springfield area continues to lead cities when it comes to offering the right environment for those looking to start a business.  The community is consistently recognized by WalletHub as one of the best cities to start a business in large part to its low cost of doing business – which the city ranked No. 1 for in this study.  Other areas examined include the overall business environment – which looks at criteria including: five-year business-survival rate and industry variety – and access to resources.
