Victoria (Vicki) Pratt joined the team at the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce in June 2022 as the senior vice president of economic development. In this role she oversees the Chamber’s economic and workforce initiatives. Vicki previously served as Executive Director of the Jefferson County Economic Development Consortium and President of Thrive Economic Development in Jefferson County, Wisconsin. An accomplished economic development professional, she has led public/private economic development organizations across the country, including Cornerstone Alliance in Michigan; the Warren County Economic Development Corporation and the Orleans County Industrial Development Authority, both in upstate New York, the Greater Wichita Economic Development Coalition in Kansas, and the Regional Economic Development, Inc. (REDI) and City of Columbia in Columbia, Missouri. She also led Business Development efforts for the nine county-focused Greater Rochester Enterprise in Rochester, New York. Vicki holds a Bachelors Degree in Interpersonal and Organizational Communications from SUNY Buffalo, with graduate work at Cornell University in Community and Economic Development. She earned her Economic Developer Certification (CEcD) in 2004 from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), and her Master Economic Development Practitioner (MEDP) certificate in 2021 from the Advanced Economic Development Leadership Program, jointly sponsored by the University of New Mexico, Clemson University, University of Southern Mississippi and Texas Christian University. Throughout her career, Vicki has worked on projects that have impacted more than 23,000 jobs. Her deal flow history includes projects for industry leaders such as Bombardier LearJet, Cessna, Cargill, Nestle Purina, Quaker Oats, Barilla-America, and more.
