HealthMEDX located in Ozark, Missouri, announced plans today to expand, adding 65 high-paying jobs to its existing workforce of over 140 employees. In addition to the new technology jobs, HealthMEDX will be adding $1 million in capital investment to the local community.

HealthMEDX was founded in Ozark in 1999 and provides over 3,000 health care locations across the United States with software needs for home care, long-term care, and rehab organizations.

With a large medical foot print in the Springfield region, companies such as HealthMEDX can provide niche technology services in the health care field and find the labor they need. In the Springfield region, it’s easy for companies to connect to the resources necessary for growth. Strong regional partnerships help make economic and community development a reality. The partnerships between the Springfield Regional Economic Partnership (SREP), the city of Ozark, and the Ozark Chamber of Commerce are a clear indicator of how business gets done in the Springfield region.

“The growth we have experienced and that is planned at HealthMEDX in the coming year is very exciting!” stated Jim Atteberry, CEO of HealthMEDX. “When Charlie Daniels, Dan Cobb, and I founded HealthMEDX, we focused on employees’ ability to grow their careers while also growing in their personal lives.”

“As the fastest growing county in Missouri, our community has experienced rapid growth over the past 15 years,” said Ozark Mayor Shane Nelson. “We look forward to continued growth and therefore, I would like to sincerely thank HealthMEDX for their investment in our community.”
