UnderCover, Inc., manufacturer of UnderCover Truck Bed Covers, announced today the expansion of a new 70,000 sq.ft. paint facility. In addition to the new facility the company plans to add 30 new jobs to their existing workforce of 60 employees.

UnderCover Inc, located in Rogersville, Missouri, is a manufacturer of ABS composite truck bed covers and truck accessories. The new facility will be used to adhere a Class A automotive finish to the UnderCover Truck Bed Covers.

In addition to the new jobs, the Rogersville community will benefit from the company’s anticipated $5.3 million in capital investment with the purchase of new state of the art machinery and facility expansion.

“Rogersville is a small, yet thriving community. The addition of this new facility and jobs is certainly welcome news. We look forward to benefits of the new plant and new families moving to our community, said Rogersville mayor, Jack Cole. “We believe Rogersville has much to offer and look forward to the continued partnerships with our business community.”

Partnerships between business and communities are of foremost importance and contribute to the success the Springfield region has had in attracting and expanding business. The Springfield Regional Economic Partnership (SREP) is the lead economic development agency for a 10-county area made up of communities and counties committed to bringing new jobs and investment to the region.

Successful partnerships, coupled with highly competitive utility rates, a low cost of living and a productive workforce, make the Springfield region a prime location for manufacturing facilities like UnderCover. Recent expansion announcements by John Deere Reman, Digital Monitoring Products, American Products, and PROFormance Powertrain provide additional evidence that the manufacturing sector has the right elements to continue to locate and expand in the Springfield region.
